Everyone needs rose water to refresh and renew!
But really, the list of rose water’s benefits goes on and on. There are so many different ways to use it, and the more I talk to people, the more I discover just how versatile this product is. Rose water is not only soothing, but it is also antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and extremely hydrating. Here’s a list of rose water’s many uses:
Daily Toner: Rose water is commonly used as a toner, directly after cleansing. Spritz some rose water on a cotton ball and wipe all over your face. This will leave the skin balanced and hydrated, while also prepping your skin for the rest of your regimen by removing any excess dirt.
Pre and Post Workout: Keep a small bottle of rose water in your workout bag. Either spray it directly on your face, our wipe your face down with a soaked cotton ball, both before and after your workout. This will cleanse your skin, preventing sweat from clogging your pores and preventing breakouts for those who have acneic skin.
Pick-Me-Up: Keep rose water in your purse as well; take it with you whenever you’re on the go. When your skin is feeling tired, dull, or dry, spray some rose water directly on your face to instantly feel refreshed. Your skin will feel rejuvenated, revitalized and hydrated. This is especially perfect during the hotter months, when were constantly out and about in the heat. Rose water’s scent is also very calming and soothing to many. Pro-Tip: Try keeping some rose water in the refrigerator. The cold mist wakes up your skin and is even more refreshing!
Combat Redness: Rose water’s anti-inflammatory property definitely comes in handy more often than you’d think. Use rose water before and after waxing or shaving to eliminate redness and to clean the area. Any other time your skin feels irritated and aggravated: rose water is the answer!
