Your skin type never changes, but your skin condition does. Skin conditions vary from day to day and at Tribeca MedSpa, we treat your skincare as such. This is why no two facials are the same!
Preventative facials are your best defense against premature aging by revitalizing dull skin and addressing dehydration and collagen breakdown. During the Signature Facial, we cleanse, exfoliate, perform extractions and apply a customized mask. To enhance this facial, we add a Laser Genesis treatment to stimulate collagen, improve elasticity and eliminate the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
After a complimentary consultation, additional recommendations may be discussed to further enhance your results. Many people opt to add a dermaplaning, a chemical peel or LED Light Therapy to their Signature Facial.
Medical-grade facials work on the cellular level of the skin, enhancing the full cycle of skin regeneration. With the Tribeca MedSpa Signature Facial, you’ll detoxify, nourish and hydrate your skin, leaving it looking healthy and rejuvenated.
Is there downtime?
No, as a matter of fact, our A-Lister’s love this treatment before walking the red carpet! You can receive a facial during your lunch break and continue with the rest of your day. Facials are an excellent go-to for quick skin rejuvenation. When consistently performed, they have long-term benefits, aiding in the youthful, supple appearance of the skin.
Is this treatment safe for all skin tones?
Absolutely. Men and women love the Signature Facial because it is highly customizable to meet the needs of your skincare concerns. Our Signature Facial can also be combined with other treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals. Depending on your skin type and tone, we may make additional recommendations.
Can I receive the Signature Facial while I am pregnant or breastfeeding?
Tribeca MedSpa will not perform laser treatments during pregnancy but it is absolutely safe while breastfeeding.
How often can I receive the Signature Facial?
Typically every 4 weeks, depending on your skin type. Your skin cell turnover occurs every 28 days; this is the time it takes your skin to naturally renew. Having a monthly check-in with a Medical Aesthetician also ensures your skin is getting the attention it deserves and the best treatments to preserve healthy skin. How often you should have a facial depends on your skin type and goals. During a complimentary consultation, your provider will review the best skincare routine and treatment plan for optimal results.
What should I know before a facial?
There is not much you need to do before your facial appointment. We recommend not exfoliating the day before your treatment, as this will be performed on a deep level (if needed). It is best to avoid sun exposure a minimum of 48 hours before your treatment.
Before your treatment, your provider will ask a series of questions to ensure you’re getting the ideal treatment plan for your skin. They may ask about skin sensitivities, allergies, your current at-home skincare routine and more in order to determine what skincare products and treatments to recommend.
What should I know after a facial?
Regardless of what’s included with your customized facial, your provider will create an at-home treatment plan to address your skincare type and concerns. Following an at-home skincare routine promotes maximum results after your facial treatment.
After your facial treatment, you’ll want to refrain from exfoliating the skin for approximately 48 hours given that your skin underwent rigorous professional exfoliation. Additional instructions may be provided.
When do you see results?
Immediately! As soon as the treatment is done, you will see glowing, supple and smooth skin. The hydrating effects and deep circulation achieved through massaging the skin help bring new nutrients to your skin cells, creating a healthy glow that can be seen for days.
How does a Medical Facial differ from a facial at a day spa?
Medical-grade facials go beyond the surface to address concerns on a deeper level because of the medical-grade products used; for example, products may be prescription-strength and contain a higher concentration of active ingredients. In a medical setting, we also have the ability to enhance the treatment with Medical Grade lasers and peels for further correction.
