Dysport NYC

Conveniently located to serve New York City, Tribeca, and The Upper East Side

Frown lines (or glabellar lines) happen to us all; whether it’s a lifestyle factor, genetics or simply the natural aging process, developing frown lines can begin forming as early as your 20s. Fortunately, Dysport, an FDA-approved neurotoxin injectable similar to BOTOX® and Xeomin, targets this area to diminish signs of aging and create a rejuvenated appearance. In fact, Dysport is specifically developed for treating larger surface areas, such as the lines on the forehead and frown lines.

Dysport delivers the natural-looking, fast-acting and long-lasting results that many patients are looking for. Dysport safely smooths the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and boasts 25 years of clinical experience worldwide. This injectable is a favorite among men and women for its proven results, with 97% of treated patients saying they’d do it again.

Like Botox and Xeomin, Dysport is considered a neurotoxin. During your complimentary consultation, a Master Injector will review your treatment options to determine which neurotoxin is best to achieve your aesthetic goals within your budget.

FAQ

How does Dysport work?

Dysport treats moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows by reducing muscle activity. During your appointment, your provider will review the recommended treatment area and how many units of Dysport are needed. Typically, for treating frown lines with Dysport, one injection targets 5 different points between and above the eyebrows. The injections temporarily stop the repeated movements in the forehead that are responsible for creating frown lines and wrinkles.

At Tribeca Medspa, we take a holistic approach to treating your aesthetic concerns. By combining neurotoxins and dermal fillers, we can address multiple areas of the face simultaneously, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead and wrinkles while revitalizing lost volume.

What do I need to know before my Dysport procedure?

Typically, appointments take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. Please avoid consuming alcohol and taking any blood thinners 24-48 hours before and after the treatment.

What do I need to know after my Dysport procedure?

There is no required downtime after Dysport. After the treatment, you can resume the rest of your daily activities. However, we recommend refraining from exercise and anything that causes facial flushing for at least four hours after treatment.

How long does Dysport last?

Results are fast-acting, with results typically seen 2-3 days post-treatment. How long Dysport lasts depends on a number of factors. While individual results may vary, typically you’ll be able to enjoy the look of your results for approximately five months.

Is Dysport safe?

Dysport is FDA-approved and generally considered safe when performed by an experienced provider.

How much does Dysport cost?

Typically, Dysport is a more affordable option than other neurotoxin injections, such as Botox. At Tribeca MedSpa, Dysport is $7.20 per unit when you take advantage of our Neurotoxin Banking program, an easy way to save hundreds while stocking up on Botox®, Xeomin and Dysport for the year!

Are there flexible payment options available?

We offer flexible payment plans for Dysport to support your aesthetic goals at any budget! Tribeca Medspa’s payment plans give you the opportunity to make an investment in yourself. With convenient monthly payment options, you can get your medspa treatment now and pay later. Learn More About Payment Plans.

Will I still be able to make facial expressions with Dysport?

Clients are still able to make facial expressions and enjoy natural-looking results with Dysport. The treated muscles in the forehead area will remain inactive.

What other conditions does Dysport treat?

Dysport is FDA-approved for treating patients who experience cervical dystonia (or abnormal head position and neck pain). In two clinical studies, Dysport relieved these symptoms with a majority of the patients not needing additional treatment until 14-18 weeks.

How do I know if I am a candidate?

If you have moderate to severe facial wrinkles in the forehead area that you would like to improve, Dysport or another neurotoxin procedure may be right for you. Men and women who are allergic to milk, are taking certain medications for muscle spasms and who are pregnant are not viable candidates for Dysport.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects are minimal swelling and bruising at the injection sites and headaches. There is a very low chance of infection.

Can I get this while pregnant?

No, Dysport should not be used on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
