Thousands of patients have benefited from this revolutionary approach of erasing cellulite.

What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite dimples are a common skin condition that affects up to 90% of women, regardless of body type, weight or fitness level. It appears as dimpled or lumpy skin, most commonly on the thighs, buttocks, and hips. This occurs due to fibrous bands called septa that have a honey-comb configuration and tether the skin to underlying tissue. When these bands pull the skin downward, fat pushes upward creating the uneven texture we know as cellulite. While harmless, many individuals seek treatments to reduce its appearance and achieve smoother skin.

Why Choose Aveli?

Aveli stands out as a next-generation cellulite treatment because it directly addresses the root cause of cellulite: the fibrous bands causing dimples. Unlike creams, injections, massages, or energy-based devices that provide temporary or surface-level results, Aveli uses precise, minimally invasive technology to sever these bands. This leads to a smoother appearance in just a single session, with results that can be permanent or at a minimum, last for years.

Good Candidates for Aveli

Aveli is an ideal treatment for individuals with moderate to severe cellulite on the thighs or buttocks who want a long-lasting solution. Candidates should be in good overall health. During your consultation, our team will evaluate your cellulite severity needs and determine if Aveli is the right choice for you. Tribeca MedSpa requires all patients seeking the treatment to undergo a complimentary consultation to ensure the treatment is the right fit and that the results will meet your expectations.

Frequently Asked Questions about Cellulite Treatments

What Is Aveli?

Aveli is an advanced, FDA-cleared cellulite treatment designed to target and reduce the appearance of cellulite by addressing its structural cause. Unlike creams or non-invasive devices that temporarily improve the skin’s texture, Aveli goes beneath the skin’s surface to sever the fibrous septa bands responsible for dimpling. This innovative, minimally invasive treatment is highly effective and delivers results that can last for years after just one session.

How Is Aveli Different from Other Treatments?

Aveli sets itself apart by directly addressing the physical cause of cellulite rather than masking its appearance. Many treatments, such as topical creams, massages, and energy-based devices (like radiofrequency or lasers), focus on improving skin texture and tightening, offering temporary results. Aveli, on the other hand, works by mechanically cutting the septa bands that pull the skin downward, creating a smoother, dimple-free surface. Additionally, Aveli provides precise targeting, ensuring only the problem areas are treated, which minimizes recovery time and maximizes results.

What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a natural condition caused by the interaction between fat deposits, connective tissues, and fibrous bands known as septa beneath the skin. These bands pull the skin downward while fat pushes upward, creating the characteristic dimples or lumps. While commonly associated with weight, cellulite affects women of all shapes and sizes and is influenced by factors such as genetics, hormones, and skin structure.

How Is the Treatment Performed?

The Aveli procedure is performed in a clinical setting by a trained medical provider. After the treatment area is cleaned and prepared, local anesthesia is administered to ensure patient comfort. The provider uses the Aveli device to identify and release the septa bands beneath the skin. The device’s precision allows the provider to treat only the fibrous bands causing visible dimples, minimizing disruption to surrounding tissue. The procedure typically takes about an hour, and you’ll be able to see improvements in the treated area immediately after the session.

What Is the Downtime?

Aveli is a minimally invasive treatment with little downtime. While the procedure itself is straightforward, you may experience mild swelling, bruising, or tenderness in the treated areas for up to two weeks. Most patients can return to their daily activities within 48 hours, although it’s recommended to avoid strenuous exercise for a few days to allow the body to heal. Your provider will give you post-treatment care instructions to ensure the best possible outcome.

How Many Treatments Are Needed to See Results?

One of the most appealing aspects of Aveli is that most patients see visible results after just one session. Because Aveli targets the septa bands directly and effectively releases them, there is no seldom a need for multiple treatments. During your consultation, your provider will evaluate the severity of your cellulite and ensure that Aveli is the right solution for your specific needs.
