Thread Lift NYC

Conveniently located to serve New York City, Tribeca, and The Upper East Side

Looking for the ultimate non-surgical facelift?

Whether you are simply looking to prevent premature aging or looking to lift and tighten the skin, a PDO Threads Lift is your solution! As we age, our skin loses elasticity resulting in loose, crepey or sagging skin due to many factors such as genetics, personal habits, environmental damages and nutrition. A Thread Lift procedure can help you to achieve a taut, natural looking lift with progressive rejuvenation. Results are immediate and improvements are seen as collagen production continues to tighten the skin naturally from within.

A PDO Thread Lift is excellent on its own or can be safely combined with other treatments such as neurotoxins, dermal fillers, Ultherapy and adequate skin care. During your complimentary consultation, you and your medical provider will customize an anti-aging treatment plan sure to turn back the hands of time.

Set up a complimentary consultation today and take the first step towards the natural looking lift you’ve been longing for!

FAQ

What is a PDO Thread Lift Treatment?

This treatment involves using multiple variations of Polydioxanone (PDO) absorbable sutures which are strategically inserted under the skin for immediate lifting and tightening effects. The sutures dissolve very naturally over a few months while stimulating new collagen as the skin heals itself

Is a Thread Lift Similar to Surgery?

No! PDO Threads involve absolutely no cuts or incisions, only injections. They also do not come along with the costs, downtime, or complications that surgery does. However, they will be able to achieve drastic results, just as surgery would!

What Areas Will Benefit from a PDO Thread Lift?

A PDO Thread Lift can be preformed on face and neck regions, even some body areas such as knees and stomach. The areas we recommend are the same areas that can be treated with Ultherapy and dermal fillers for enhanced results. These are:

• Neck
• Jowls
• Jaw line
• Nasojugal folds
• Nasolabial folds
• Crow’s feet
• Undereye area
• Eyebrows
• Cheeks
• Marionette lines

Who’s a Good Candidate for a PDO Thread Lift?

An ideal candidate is anyone with mild to moderate skin laxity but doesn’t want to spend the time and money to undergo a surgical facelift. Most clients are in their late 30s to early 50s and are just starting to see signs of aging. As with any medspa procedure, if you are generally in good health, a PDO Thread Lift can be a good option to support your anti-aging skincare efforts.

How Long do PDO Threads Last?

The results from a PDO Thread Lift can last 12-15 months. The PDO threads remain in place for about four to six months, after which they are slowly re-absorbed by the body. At that time, new collagen production is underway. Many clients who love the results keep coming back for more every 4 months to continue collagen stimulation.

Is a PDO Thread Lift Treatment Safe?

PDO Thread Lift treatments are approved by the FDA for safety and efficiency. PDO threads are non-toxic and considered a low-risk procedure, thanks to how non-invasive they are, with minimal recovery time. Clients may experience side effects of redness, bruising and swelling, however, there is virtually no risk of scarring, severe bruising, bleeding or other complications associated with surgery.

How Do I Prepare for a Thread Lift Procedure?

It is best to avoid anticoagulation medications such as aspirin/warfarin/heparin or supplements such as evening primrose oil, vitamin D,A and E, fish oils, flax seed oil, magnesium, garlic and ginko prior to treatment. Also avoid consumption of alcohol within 48 hours of treatment.

What Happens During the Thread Lift Procedure?

After the area is numbed, the procedure involves the provider making a small needle poke into the skin. The PDO suture is attached to a cannula and then inserted below the surface of the skin. The cannula is then removed and the PDO thread stays hidden underneath. The PDO thread has small barbs on it which help to lift the skin. Any remaining thread on the surface is then trimmed off. This treatment is well tolerated by clients, quick to perform, non-surgical, and there is no need for anesthesia.

What is the Recovery Period Like?

Another benefit of this non-invasive procedure is that there is not much special after-care required. Bruising, swelling, and soreness may be expected for up to two weeks. We recommend that patients do not perform exaggerated facial expressions for 7-10 days after treatment and no facials or laser treatments for 4 weeks post procedure.

How Much Does a PDO Thread Lift Cost?

A PDO Thread Lift is highly customizable. The price depends on how many threads and the types of threads required for clients to achieve their desired results. Outside of the cost of the procedure, you also don’t have to consider taking recovery time off from work. For an accurate cost for the procedure, we recommend scheduling a complimentary skin consultation.
