Micro Channeling NYC
Conveniently located to serve New York City, Tribeca, and The Upper East Side
During your complimentary consultation, one of our expert medical providers will customize a “cocktail” of anti-aging and rejuvenating products to address your specific skincare concerns. Customized cocktails may include neurotoxins Botox, Dysport & Xeomin, dermal fillers, stem cells, vitamin C, cosmeceuticals or essential proteins and growth factors derived from your own Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Your unique cocktail is administered using a handheld device comprised of 20 microneedles, allowing for painless yet deep penetration while also stimulating collagen production.
With absolutely no downtime, this treatment is perfect for a lunch time pick-me-up, or when you need to look amazing and rejuvenated for that special event. While addressing the visible signs of aging, Micro-Channeling will also be sure to restore dewy, glowing skin immediately!
How does Micro-Channeling work?
Micro-Channeling works by delivering powerful anti-aging cosmeceuticals, neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport & Xeomin) and Dermal Fillers to the skin through tiny needles. These tiny needles allow for deeper penetration of the product, resulting in highly effective results without downtime. The tiny needles create minuscule punctures in the skin that stimulates the body’s natural healing process. In turn, this accelerates cellular turnover and collagen production. As a result, skin texture, laxity and tone are greatly improved.
How often do you recommend this treatment?
Generally, you can receive this treatment approximately every four to six weeks. The frequency for micro-channeling is based on the average cellular turnover time for dead skin cells, which is four to six weeks for most people. We will be happy to work with you to determine the right frequency and treatment plan based on your specific needs and aesthetic goals.
How will I know what “cocktail” of anti-aging products I need?
During a complimentary consultation, your medical provider will discuss all of your skin concerns and aesthetic goals. Based on those concerns and your skin’s condition, you and your provider will customize a “cocktail” of anti-aging products to achieve your desired results. Your provider may also recommend additional treatments and/or an at-home skincare regimen that will help you achieve maximum results.
What do I need to know before my Micro-Channeling treatment?
It is recommended to avoid any Retin-A or Retinol products 24 hours prior to your treatment.
What do I need to know after my treatment?
Your provider may ask you to refrain from using other skincare products other than the products provided to you until the following day. Your skin may become more sensitive to UVA/UVB; as always make sure you are diligent about applying medical-grade sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 30 for two weeks. Tanning beds should be avoided.
Is there downtime?
There is no downtime after the treatment; you are free to go about your normal daily activities after your treatment. Your skin may appear slightly red but this will quickly diminish post-treatment.
What other treatments can Micro-Channeling be combined with?
Achieve the maximum results from your skincare treatment by combining it with other effective facial treatments. Combine micro-channeling with dermaplaning for added exfoliation and accelerated absorption from your skincare products. Add a Signature Facial to your treatment plan for additional hydration and skin rejuvenation. If fine lines and wrinkles are a concern, micro-channeling can be combined with injectables, such as Botox, Dysport and Xeomin.
How long until I see the results?
The production of new collagen can take a few weeks to become visible; typically, results can be soon as soon as 1-2 weeks post-treatment.
Is it painful?
There is minimal discomfort associated with micro-channeling.
How do I know if I’m a candidate?
This treatment is suitable for all skin types! If you are experiencing fine lines and wrinkles, loss in skin laxity, scarring or uneven skin tone, you may be a candidate for micro-channeling. If you have certain skin conditions, such as eczema or psoriasis, micro-channeling may not be recommended.
During a complimentary consultation, your provider will develop a customized treatment plan to address your skincare concerns.
