Xeomin NYC

Conveniently located to serve New York City, Tribeca, and The Upper East Side

With non-invasive, anti-aging injectables like Xeomin, time is finally on your side. Whether it’s from genetics, everyday facial expressions, squinting or furrowing of the brows, over time your skin can age and develop glabellar lines, also known as the 11’s and frown lines. Xeomin is an effective FDA-approved neurotoxin that is clinically proven to rejuvenate skin, smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 20 minutes.

Xeomin works just like other neurotoxins, including Botox, by blocking the signals from the nerves to the muscles and preventing muscle contraction. Muscle contractions over time in the forehead cause some wrinkles. With Xeomin injections, the muscles in the forehead relax, allowing wrinkles and lines to smooth.

Xeomin differs from Botox and Dysport in its patented formulation. Containing only a single ingredient, botulinum toxin A, it is free of any protein additives. This formula may prevent antibody resistance to the injection, meaning you can receive the same incredible results time after time.

During your complimentary consultation, a Master Injector will review all treatment options with you to determine which neurotoxin will achieve your aesthetic goals.

FAQ

How does Xeomin work?

Xeomin is also known as “naked Botox” due to its double-filtered formula that removes unnecessary proteins through a proprietary process called XTRACT Technology™. The active ingredient contains only what is needed to smooth and soften frown lines. The prescription medication is injected into the targeted muscles in the forehead, reducing their contractions. The result is smooth, toned, youthful skin.

Xeomin can work in combination with other medspa treatments. By combining neurotoxins and dermal fillers, we can address multiple areas of concern simultaneously, smoothing fine lines and wrinkles in the forehead while restoring lost volume.

What do I need to know before my Xeomin procedure?

Like many other cosmetic procedures, it is important to find an experienced provider as this will make all the difference when it comes to safely achieve your desired results.

Typically, appointments take no longer than 20 minutes to complete. Please avoid consuming alcohol and taking any blood thinners 24-48 hours before and after the treatment.

What do I need to know after my Xeomin procedure?

Xeomin injections do not require recovery time. However, there are steps you can take to ensure the best outcome. We recommended avoiding the treated area for at least three hours post-treatment and strenuous exercise for at least six hours.

How long does Xeomin last?

You may begin to see results as soon as 3-4 days post-treatment with maximum effects seen at 30 days. In clinical trials, results lasted approximately three months but may last significantly longer or shorter in individual patients.

Is Xeomin safe?

Xeomin is FDA-approved and generally considered a safe cosmetic treatment option when performed by an experienced provider.

How much does Xeomin cost?

Xeomin is FDA-approved and generally considered a safe cosmetic treatment option when performed by an experienced provider. At Tribeca MedSpa, Xeomin is $18 per unit when you take advantage of our Neurotoxin Banking program, which is an easy way to save hundreds while stocking up on Botox®, Xeomin, and Dysport for the year!

Will I still be able to make facial expressions with Xeomin?

This is a common concern among clients considering an anti-aging injectable. Your provider will review your goals and have a detailed conversation with you during a complimentary consultation. Your provider will then develop a treatment plan to achieve your desired outcome, whether it is a more natural look or a “frozen” look, there are steps they can take to ensure your goals are met.

How do I know if I am a candidate?

If you have moderate to severe facial wrinkles in the forehead area, Xeomin or another neurotoxin procedure may be the right treatment option for you. If you have had an allergic reaction to a botulinum toxin product or have a skin infection at the planned injection site, you may not be a candidate.

Are there any side effects?

The most common side effects are minimal swelling and bruising at the injection site. Xeomin’s patented formulation reduces the chances of allergic reaction when compared to other neurotoxins.

Can I get this while pregnant?

Xeomin should not be used on women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
