| The Corrective Acne Treatment |
| This Corrective Acne Treatment with Blu-U light therapy is designed to clear up periodic or on-going breakouts and helps to remove congestion, blackheads, and improves overall appearance. We begin with a enzyme exfoliant with steam followed by a salicylic acid peel which will soften & exfoliate the skin prior to extraction. Dermaplaning may be performed to rid the skin of any buildup. A custom blend of Camille of NY Cosmeceuticals is applied leaving the skin balanced and hydrated. The light energy of the BLU-U then targets the bacteria present in acne lesions. |

| Blu-U Light Therapy |
| The Blu-U is a FDA approved non-invasive therapy to treat moderate to severe acne vulgaris. The Blu-U is effective by emitting a narrow band of light which kills the bacteria that causes acne. This acne treatment works as an excellent stand alone or accompanied with another medical acne treatment. Your medical aesthetician will help advise you in determining the appropriate treatment for your skin. |

| Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) |
PDT uses the combination of five aminolevulinic acids, known as Levulan*, and Blu-U light therapy. Photodynamic Therapy is a corrective treatment for a variety of skin conditions such as moderate to severe cystic acne, sebaceous hyperplasia, sun damage and age spots. During this treatment Levulan, a photosensitizing agent, is applied to the face and is then activated by the Blu-U light source.
·Levulan may be used in combination with Photo Genesis laser treatment to treat severe sun damage. |
